Job summary

The Vertex Companies LLC is a global consulting firm delivering strategic advisory, project management, and dispute resolution. The Project Manager will support the Managing Consultant, drive timely, high-quality work, and coordinate cross-functional teams across New York and New Jersey sites.

This role emphasizes management of complex information, adherence to budgets, and mentorship of team members while traveling to job sites locally and nationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of related experience, or Master’s degree with 3 years, or 8 years of related experience with no degree.
• Solid Construction Project Management experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with housing, retail and commercial design or construction.
• Professional qualifications such as AC, CPC, LEED AP, etc. preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Managing Consultant with execution of tasks and timely, high-quality deliverables.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure project alignment with scope and budget.
• Lead project meetings and perform due diligence for proposed developments.
• Monitor utilization goals and support cross-functional collaboration.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to project team members.
