Job summary

SteelFab is seeking a Project Manager to serve as the chief representative for projects with customers, vendors, and internal departments. The role requires clear, cost-conscious, and schedule-driven leadership to achieve team-oriented results.

The individual will prepare subcontracts, coordinate with estimating, manage change requests, and ensure timely payments and documentation. Travel and site meetings are expected as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Requires strong communication and scheduling skills.
• Experience with construction projects and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Communicates regularly with customers, vendors, design teams and internal departments to satisfy needs of all parties with clarity, brevity, and professionalism.
• Creates vendor subcontracts and purchase orders in a timely manner after coordination with estimating.
• Coordinates with accounting for monthly pay applications and verifies vendor invoices.
• Runs monthly Work-In-Process updates for financial reporting.
• Schedules and attends job meetings and site progress reviews.
