Job summary

Clark Construction Group is seeking a Project Manager to join its leadership team and direct daily project management tasks from planning through close-out. You will develop project plans, lead communications among stakeholders, manage risks, and monitor progress to meet goals.

Successful candidates will demonstrate a passion for getting the job done, strong collaboration across design and owner teams, and adherence to Clark’s standards of excellence in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, a related discipline, or relevant work experience.
• 4+ years of construction experience; working for a general contractor on large-scale projects preferred.
• 2+ years leading, developing, and motivating teams.
• Understanding of the strategic, operational, and financial components of a construction project.
• Ability to make timely and effective decisions.
• Experience managing projects from start to finish.
• Ability to develop and negotiate relationships with owners and trade contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead all activities related to contract administration, change orders, procurement, schedule, and financial reporting.
• Secure required permits and verify insurance coverage for subcontractors.
• Facilitate project meetings to coordinate work activity.
• Lead and develop project team members.
• Prepare and submit monthly job status reports.
• Lead project close-out, including turnover of manuals and warranties and final payment documents.
