Job summary

Vanir Construction Management, Inc. seeks a Senior Construction Project Manager to provide planning, coordination, and direction for project management from initiation to closeout. May supervise project staff and other managers to meet owner needs, cost and schedule.

The role requires 9+ years in construction PM with design-build experience; CA courthouse projects preferred. Procore and MS Project proficiency, plus strong communication and documentation skills, are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or architecture.
• 9+ years of experience as a construction project manager in design-build.
• CA courthouse project experience preferred (new construction/modernizations).
• Strong knowledge of project development, design-phase management, and cost controls.
• Proficiency with MS Project and Procore; document control systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Primary contact for owner and partner entities for contracts and design.
• Develop project-specific procedures and documentation; consult with owner.
• Ensure contracts, drawings, estimates, and specs meet project requirements.
• Manage data, communications, and approvals between owner, architects, engineers.
• Represent owner and parties in public forums and meetings.
• Lead project controls, cost, scheduling, and logistics; project closeout.
• Lead in project meetings with documentation and tracking of statuses.
• Coordinate and monitor construction management staff, contractors, engineers, architects.
• Ensure adherence to safety requirements and manage bid phase services.
