Job summary

Clark Construction Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager in the Richmond, VA area to lead day-to-day management of large-scale projects. You will create project plans, manage risk, and drive progress while coordinating with owners, engineers, and designers.

The role demands a proactive leader who can recruit and develop teams and ensure safety on active job sites. The Senior Project Manager will oversee contract administration, procurement, schedules, and financial reporting, and will

Qualifications

• 7+ years of construction experience required.
• Experience with general contractor on large-scale projects.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Understanding of contracts, change orders, and risk.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead all activities related to contract administration, change orders, procurement, schedule, and financial reporting.
• Secure required permits and verify insurance coverage for subcontractors.
• Facilitate project meetings to coordinate work activity.
• Lead, train, and develop project team members.
• Prepare and submit monthly job status reports outlining priorities and issues.
• Lead project close-out including turnover of manuals and warranties and final payment documents.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with owners, engineering, and design firms.
• Participate in proposals and presentations as requested.
• Drive a culture of safety on the project site.
• Recruit top industry talent to join Clark; identify and retain outstanding people.
