Job summary

Upchurch Companies is seeking a Project Financial Analyst to partner with Project Managers and Operations Leaders on construction projects from kickoff through closeout. You will handle project accounting, forecasting, and cost reporting to improve profitability and cash flow.

The role requires experience in construction accounting, strong Excel skills, and proficiency with ERP systems like Sage Intacct or BuildOps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in project accounting or construction finance.
• Experience in commercial construction/project finance and cost reporting.
• Strong skills in job costing, budgets, forecasting, and billing.

Responsibilities

• Monitor financial performance of active construction projects with PMs.
• Review budgets, committed costs, forecasts, and profitability.
• Assist with cost projections, revenue forecasting, and WIP reporting.
• Provide ad hoc analyses to support decision-making.
