Job summary

Kinsley Construction seeks a Project Accountant to manage accounting and administrative duties for assigned projects. Key tasks include invoicing, budget-to-actual comparisons, and change order preparation. You will support Project Management Teams to ensure profitability and timely project completion.

Qualifications

• Prior accounting experience; construction project accounting preferred.
• 2-4 year post-secondary degree preferred.
• Microsoft Office skills required; Vista/Viewpoint preferred.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and project management skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist project management teams with duties to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Lead project invoicing, payment processing and job cost comparisons.
• Review and code invoices; manage subcontractor and vendor payments.
• Prepare monthly project billings and change orders.
• Maintain accounts receivable and assist in financial closings.
