Job summary

SGS Consulting seeks an experienced procurement professional to deliver best-value services for Property/Construction projects. You will manage purchasing activities, lead contract negotiations, and support change orders while ensuring compliance with guidelines and cost optimization across the value chain.

The role requires understanding of construction contracting, supplier evaluation, and ability to adapt procurement strategies to client needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in formation, negotiation, award and administration of contracts.
• Knowledge of engineering/construction contracting practices.
• Experience in contract administration on construction/engineering projects including change management and dispute resolution.
• Understanding of contract formation/administration for materials, equipment, services and construction management.
• Familiarity with client purchase processes, rules and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide procurement services for Property/Construction projects and initiatives.
• Control, organize, conduct and document purchase activities within Property/ Construction.
• Negotiate contracts and support change order processes.
• Secure legal compliance and appropriate contract structure/content.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and opportunities, challenging established processes.
