Job summary

SGS Consulting is seeking a seasoned procurement leader to drive category management across global and regional spend in the United States. You will develop strategies, analyze markets, and manage end-to-end sourcing, negotiations, and contracting.

Collaborating with Legal, Finance, and business units, you will implement KPIs, lead supplier performance programs, and ensure policy compliance while mentoring teams.

Qualifications

• Experience managing global/regional categories.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills.
• Familiarity with iProcurement, Apttus and Fieldglass.
• Understanding of contract law and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category strategies aligned with business goals.
• Analyze spend data, market trends, and supply base for opportunities.
• Manage end-to-end procurement processes (RFI/RFP/RFQ, negotiation, contracting).
• Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers; lead supplier selection and performance management.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Legal, Finance, Business Units) and provide training on procurement best practices.
• Negotiate and draft contracts; manage renewals, amendments, and ensure compliance.
• Monitor performance, implement KPIs, and recommend improvements; ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
