Qualifications

• 3–5 years of commercial construction experience including sourcing and subcontract negotiations.
• Familiar with construction documents, bid packages, RFQ/RFP processes.
• Understanding risk factors for trade contractors and partners.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10% for project engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing for third-party materials and subcontracted scopes on large projects.
• Partner with Sales early to develop a sourcing strategy that provides a competitive cost position.
• Work with Procurement peers in category management to leverage Siemens’ buying power into projects.
• Collaborate with Operations and Engineering to reduce risk on subcontract and material purchases during project execution.
• Act as a business partner to the area management team.
• Maintain strong relationship skills and negotiate commercially to align stakeholders.
• Lead procurement for the greater New York City area with Northeast team backing.
