Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's in engineering or quantity surveying and a recognized procurement credential.
• Strong negotiation, communication and contract management abilities are essential.
• Experience with large general contractors or consultancies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prequalify subcontractors/suppliers for project tenders.
• Issue RFQs, evaluate offers, and manage clarifications and technical reviews.
• Coordinate with project teams for bid comparisons and award recommendations.
• Lead meetings with subcontractors and internal stakeholders to progress offers.
• Contribute to value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.
• Prepare comparison sheets and support procurement manager in negotiations.
• Monitor schedules to ensure timely bid submissions and contract awards.
• Foster strong working relationships across construction and commercial teams.
