Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field plus four (4) years construction project management experience and two (2) years of project supervisory experience
• Associate degree in related field plus six (6) years construction project management experience and four (4) years of project supervisory experience
• Eight (8) years construction project management experience and six (6) years of project supervisory experience
• Experience in major construction management, reporting and budget management
• Experience using Workday and Projectmates for procurement and project tracking

Responsibilities

• Oversee new construction and major maintenance projects from inception to completion
• Identify business strategies aligning with Dallas College goals
• Conduct needs assessments and measure program effectiveness
• Ensure compliance with policies, laws, codes and regulations
• Promote energy efficiency and sustainable practices in projects
• Maintain project schedules and budgets
• Manage architects, engineers and consultants and negotiate contracts
• Coordinate final project documents and bid awards
• Produce and maintain project files and close-out documentation
• Lead cross-functional teams and foster collaboration across departments
