Job summary

The Chemours Company in Wilmington, DE, is seeking a Contracted Construction and Maintenance Services (CCMS) Buyer to join the Procurement team. This hybrid role is critical for ensuring reliable and cost-effective execution of construction and maintenance across manufacturing sites.

The successful candidate will drive sourcing excellence, manage supplier performance, and deliver optimal value through effective contracting strategies. A Bachelor’s degree and significant procurement experience are required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 years supporting construction, facilities, maintenance, or capital project categories.
• Experience sourcing contractors, engineering services, or EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction).
• Knowledge of construction contracts and commercial terms.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and procurement of construction services, contractor labor, and materials.
• Negotiate and manage contracts, pricing, and commercial terms.
• Monitor and drive supplier performance across safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
• Partner cross-functionally with operations, engineering, finance, legal, and project teams.
