The Chemours Company is seeking a Senior Category Manager at its Wilmington, DE headquarters. This role leads strategic sourcing for critical raw materials, partners with Supply Chain, Engineering and Operations, and drives cost savings while ensuring quality and sustainability.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years in chemical procurement, strong negotiation skills, and fluency with data analytics and ERP/S2P platforms. A Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or engineering is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in procurement or category management in chemicals.
• Strong negotiation, contract management and supplier performance expertise.
• Proficiency with S2P software and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop global category strategies for key raw materials.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business objectives into sourcing plans.
• Identify and mitigate supply risks and drive cost savings.
• Lead negotiations and contract terms to achieve best TCO while meeting quality standards.
• Analyze spend data, market trends and supplier performance to optimize portfolios.
• Mentor associates in category management and supplier management.
• Drive bidding strategies and RFX processes to optimize value.
