Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced leader to oversee multiple construction projects from preconstruction to closeout in Chicago, IL. The role focuses on securing new work, building long-term client relationships, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree with extensive related experience, demonstrates strong leadership, and possesses skills in budgeting, scheduling, and contract negotiations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus minimum of 18 years' related experience or equivalent.
• Proven leadership and interpersonal skills with ability to manage client relationships.
• Strong sales skills and knowledge of regional market; ability to secure new work.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and coordinate all phases of multiple projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, design community, and organizations for business development.
• Supervise teams, provide feedback and performance appraisals, and mentor staff.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to secure new work for the unit.
• Oversee budget, scheduling, estimating, and contract negotiations; ensure QA/QC.
