Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Chicago is seeking an experienced project leader to manage multiple projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will coordinate teams, controls, and client communications to deliver on time and within budget.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree plus 18 years of related experience, strong knowledge of cost, scheduling, and contracts, and a proven ability to win new work while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree plus minimum of eighteen years' related experience or equivalent.
• Thorough knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, and engineering principles.
• Advanced presentation and communication skills; ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents and project schedule.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and design community to enhance future business development opportunities.
• Lead and mentor high-performance teams with supervision, training, coaching and timely performance appraisals.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to secure new work for the business unit.
• Oversee the master project schedule and manage its implementation, budget and financials.
• Drive adoption of BIM and Lean to benefit the project and enforce safety and QA/QC programs.
