Job summary

Absher Construction is seeking a Financial Accounting Manager to lead the financial reporting for Absher's affiliated entities. You will oversee month-end close, WIP reporting, inventory and fixed asset accounting, and work closely with Accounting and Operations to ensure accurate information and informed business decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, construction focus preferred.
• Experience with WIP reporting and percentage-of-completion accounting.
• Experience consolidating financial statements across multiple entities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close process and prepare monthly financial statements
• Prepare and analyze consolidated financial reporting and WIP schedules
• Review general ledger activity, reconciliations, and journal entries
• Coordinate annual audits and prepare supporting financial documentation
• Manage fixed assets, depreciation schedules, inventory, and regulatory filings
• Partner with Operations to support project financial reporting and cost management
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting, and internal controls
• Coach and mentor accounting staff while supporting department growth
