Job summary

Triple Crown Corporation is seeking a Construction Controller to oversee the Construction Division’s accounting functions, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. You will lead the accounting team, drive internal controls, and ensure accurate job costing and revenue recognition across projects.

The role partners with senior leadership to support growth initiatives, manage cash flow, and maintain regulatory/compliance standards within the construction sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 5+ years’ experience in accounting management and supervision of direct reports.
• CPA or CCIFP is highly preferred.
• Strong proficiency in computerized accounting systems.
• Knowledge of Yardi Accounting and Construction software is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees accounting systems, policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Manages cash flow, banking, and required financial reporting.
• Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and budgets.
• Leads accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
• Oversees job costing, revenue recognition, and cost tracking for Construction Division.
• Ensures timely month-end and year-end closing and CPA work papers.
• Coordinates tax, regulatory reporting, and audit support.
• Leads and develops the Construction Accounting team.
