Job summary

Double P Construction seeks an experienced Construction Controller-CPA to oversee major financial decisions across our residential and commercial projects. You will partner with department heads and upper management to drive financial health and strategic planning.

Responsibilities include preparing reports, forecasting, ensuring compliance, managing payroll, and coordinating with external auditors. The ideal candidate has 8–10 years of construction accounting experience, CPA preferred, and

Qualifications

• Previous, demonstrated experience handling company-wide finances.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of construction accounting principles, job costing, and financial reporting.
• 8-10 years construction accounting experience is a MUST.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity.
• Ability to work with owners, project managers and other team members.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with every department to create financial goals, budgets, and plans that align with the overall company budgets and finances.
• Forecast sales and make financial projections.
• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and job costing.
• Oversee and manage all accounting functions related to our residential and commercial construction projects.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
