Job summary

Triple-S Steel Holdings, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Controller to oversee accounting and financial reporting for an assigned division. You will ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with GAAP while partnering with operational leadership to drive financial performance.

The role involves leading monthly close, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and audit support, with collaboration across finance teams and departments. A CPA is preferred and expertise with ERP and BI tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience are required.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting controls.
• Experience with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Experience coordinating external audits and regulatory compliance activities.
• Experience developing, implementing, or monitoring internal controls.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data through review and analysis.
• Prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in Management and Board report preparation and analyses.
• Support annual budgets and forecasts; monitor variances.
• Assist in internal control design and implementation.
• Coordinate with external auditors and respond to inquiries.
• Stay updated on accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with finance and other departments; mentor junior staff.
