Job summary

Jobot is hiring an experienced Controller for a heavy civil construction firm with projects across the Southeast. The role focuses on overseeing all accounting, financial reporting, cash management, and job costing, partnering with leadership to drive performance and growth.

Experience with Vista by Viewpoint is strongly preferred, and the position leads a finance team in a fast-paced environment. Salary ranges from $160,000 to $170,000 per year, with benefits including health, 401(k) match, and

Qualifications

• 7+ years of accounting and finance experience with leadership responsibility.
• Prior experience in heavy civil, marine, infrastructure, or similar construction industry.
• Knowledge of construction accounting: Job costing, WIP reporting, ASC 606 revenue recognition, cash flow management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the accounting and finance team.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
