Job summary

Terra Contracting Inc in Las Vegas is seeking an experienced corporate or construction controller to own and lead the financial function as the organization scales. The role combines hands-on accounting with strategic leadership, overseeing multi-entity financial reporting, cash flow, and controls.

The successful candidate will develop budgets, forecasts, and long-term plans; drive profitability, and partner with ownership on growth initiatives while strengthening the finance team and systems

Qualifications

• Experience leading accounting functions in a multi-company construction environment.
• Strong knowledge of construction accounting, including job costing, WIP, margins, and revenue recognition.
• Proven ability to build and scale an accounting department and develop a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the complete accounting and financial reporting across multiple operating companies.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and ensure reconciliations are accurate.
• Manage cash flow, banking relationships, debt facilities, and internal controls.
