Job summary

The Nature Conservancy seeks a WA Conservation Transactions Director to lead a transactions team, coordinating real estate and conservation agreements across Washington and Western U.S. efforts.

You will negotiate complex arrangements, engage with diverse partners, and drive fundraising and project delivery with a collaborative, multi-disciplinary approach. Seattle-based role with travel up to 20% and a focus on climate-resilient lands, Indigenous rights, and community partnerships.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in natural resources, conservation, business, law, or related field.
• Experience with land conservation, real estate, law or related areas.
• Supervisory and project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, coordinate and execute conservation transactions across programs.
• Lead negotiations with government agencies, Tribes, and partners.
• Support fundraising and prepare grant proposals.
• Manage a 2-3 person team and team budget.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, and philanthropy teams.
