Job summary

Quinnipiac University seeks a Conferences & Events Manager to lead planning and execution of a diverse portfolio of conferences, summer programs, and campus events. You will partner with clients from contract to completion, ensuring seamless, high-quality experiences for internal and external stakeholders.

This role requires strong relationship management, operational leadership, and the ability to oversee complex programs across campus, contributing to program growth and repeat business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing conferences, events, or summer programs.
• Strong project management, organizational, and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute a high-volume portfolio of one-day events, multi-day conferences, and summer programs.
• Serve as the primary client relationship manager from post-contract through program completion.
• Collaborate with campus stakeholders to coordinate housing, dining, meeting spaces, and facilities.
• Manage 75+ events annually, balancing priorities and deadlines.
• Support business development through inquiry intake and proposals.
• Assist with site visits, contract preparation, and pre-event communications.
