Job summary

Ithaka Hospitality Partners, LLC is seeking a Senior Conference Services Manager to lead complex events at Elevation Convening Center & Hotel in Montgomery, AL. You will act as the primary post-sales contact, coordinating with Sales, Catering, and hotel operations to ensure seamless execution and outstanding service.

Responsibilities include managing high-profile groups, mentoring conference teams, and driving profitability while maintaining exceptional guest experiences across large conventions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred.
• 5–7 years of hotel conference services, catering, or event management experience.
• Experience handling large convention, corporate, association, and social groups.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Solid understanding of hotel operations and banquet execution.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for groups after turnover through departure.
• Lead planning and execution of large-scale meetings and events.
• Coordinate guest room blocks, meeting space, food & beverage, audiovisual, transportation, and logistics.
• Mentor Conference Services team members and assist with onboarding and training.
• Partner with Sales, Catering, and Operations to maximize client satisfaction and hotel profitability.
