Job summary

VIVA USA Inc. seeks a Component Supply Planner to manage end-to-end planning for strategic components, from memory and ICs to interconnects and mechanicals. You will coordinate consignment transactions, track supplier commitments, and optimize inventory across SAP/Ariba workflows.

You will develop supply/demand models, translate forecasts into actionable plans, and collaborate with sourcing, finance, and manufacturing teams to minimize stockouts and obsolescence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or materials planning within a manufacturing environment (semiconductors, medical devices, or consumer electronics are highly preferred).
• Advanced proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and data analysis tools (Advanced Excel, Tableau, or SQL).
• Strong capability to utilize statistical models and AI tools for predicting material requirements.
• Exceptional cross-functional communication and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

Responsibilities

• Component Planning: End to end component planning for strategic components.
• Consignment Model Management: Manage Buy/Sell transactions between Supplier and Contract Manufacturer (CM) Release PO to lead time in SAP/Ariba and confirm supplier delivery commits.
• Inventory Management: Monitoring supply commits, delivery notes, good receipts, and stock levels to determine when and how much material to drive weekly/monthly/quarterly.
• Supply/Demand Modeling: Develop and Maintain Supply/Demand charts for strategic components and present analysis to cross-functional teams.
• Demand Analysis: Collaborating with demand planners to translate sales forecasts into component plans and mitigate stock outs and excess/obsolete liability.
• Supplier Coordination: Communicating with external vendors and sourcing team to track shipments and resolve material delays.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the primary materials liaison between Commodity Sourcing teams and global suppliers to provide visibility on long range planning and supply/demand trends.
