Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Business/Management, Engineering/Technology or Supply Management, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with order fulfillment processes in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to gather and analyze data to meet business objectives.
• Willingness to relocate domestically.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office especially Excel, Word, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with suppliers daily regarding delivery schedules.
• Manage Hot Part Requests, Aged ASN’s, Goods Receipt Compliance Issues and delinquency recovery plans.
• Work with the Supply Management Specialist to monitor and improve supplier performance; define corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement in supplier performance using Achieving Excellence criteria.
• Resolve shipping and receiving problems to ensure prompt payments to suppliers.
• Gather and analyze data to support business objectives.
• Schedule and expedite delivery of purchased materials to support the production plan; advise on premium logistics when needed.
