Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing, solicitation development, project management, contract management or case management.
• Experience with the State of Texas and project management preferred.
• Must have Certified Texas Contract Developer (CTCD) within 6 months of hire.
• Knowledge of state and federal purchasing laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review and track solicitation and contract documents to ensure compliance.
• Coordinate solicitation timelines with program staff to support agency priorities.
• Ensure procurements comply with state laws and HHSC policies.
• Monitor correspondence and action items to resolve issues.
• Serve as PCS representative at meetings related to procurements.
• Maintain procurement files per laws and HHSC policies.
• Support disaster response or COOP activation as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service per the PCS principles.
