Job summary

Samsung Electronics America in Plano, TX is seeking an experienced Compensation partner to serve as a strategic advisor for designated lines of business. You will guide pay decisions and ensure competitive, equitable compensation aligned with business goals.

This role blends hands-on analytics with consultative leadership, leading annual compensation cycles, governance, and reporting. You’ll partner with HR, finance, and business leaders to drive talent decisions and uphold internal equity and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance, or related field or equivalent.
• 6–10+ years of progressive compensation experience with at least 3 years in a consultative role.
• Deep knowledge of compensation principles, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in sales compensation is strongly preferred.
• Proven expertise in job evaluation methodologies and market benchmarking.
• Experience managing annual compensation processes from planning through execution.
• Strategic compensation consulting to business leaders and HR partners.
• Strong communication, analytical, and project management abilities.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary compensation consultant for assigned lines of business/divisions.
• Provide expert guidance on base salary, incentives, and equity.
• Lead annual compensation cycles including merit increases and bonus programs.
• Develop dashboards and analytics to inform pay practices and decisions.
• Ensure compliance with internal equity, external competitiveness, and legal requirements.
