Job summary

Diversified Gas & Oil Corporation is seeking a Compensation Manager to design, administer, and govern the organization’s compensation programs across corporate, operational, and field roles in the energy sector.

You will partner with HR leadership, Finance, and business leaders to support sound, data-driven pay decisions, develop salary structures, and ensure regulatory compliance while aligning with strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required; advanced degree or professional certification preferred.
• 7–10 years of progressive compensation or total rewards experience, energy industry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of compensation principles, job evaluation, market pricing, and incentive plan design.
• Experience interpreting wage and hour, pay equity, and related regulations.
• Advanced analytical skills to translate data into insights for senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain compensation programs including base pay, incentives, and other pay practices.
• Conduct market pricing and benchmarking to ensure external competitiveness and internal equity.
• Advise HR partners and leaders on compensation decisions across exempt and non-exempt staff.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local pay regulations and wage laws.
• Prepare and maintain compensation analytics, dashboards, and reporting for leadership.
• Support annual compensation planning, merit cycles, budgeting, and cost modeling.
• Assist audits with compensation documentation and reporting as required.
• Manage compensation-related initiatives such as system implementations and job architecture redesigns.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance compensation programs to improve effectiveness and scalability.
• Provide education and guidance on compensation philosophy and best practices.
