Job summary

Samsung Electronics America, Inc. is seeking a senior Compensation professional to lead core programs, including market benchmarking, survey participation, and pay structure maintenance.

You will partner with business leaders and HR to translate compensation strategy into actionable guidance. This role will manage end-to-end processes in Workday Advance Compensation, support merit and promotion cycles, and ensure internal equity while staying current with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of compensation experience, or 4+ years with a Master’s degree.
• Experience leading survey participation and market pricing processes.
• Experience building job architecture / leveling frameworks.
• Strong Excel and HRIS skills (Workday) and familiarity with survey tools like Radford or Mercer.
• Excellent communication and ability to explain compensation concepts to non-specialists.
• High attention to detail and handling confidential data.

Responsibilities

• Lead third-party compensation surveys and annual market benchmarking.
• Design and maintain salary structures, pay grades, and geographic differentials.
• Lead job evaluation and leveling for new and existing roles.
• Advise HRBPs on offer development, promotions, and pay decisions.
• Ensure compliance with pay equity and transparency regulations.
• Serve as SME to HR partners and internal stakeholders.
