Job summary

Amazon is seeking an experienced Compensation Specialist to join our team in San Francisco. This role will support the implementation and ongoing management of complex compensation programs, serving as a strategic partner to business leaders across the organization.

You will manage complex compensation problems, influence key stakeholders, and lead the design and rollout of incentive programs while collaborating with HRIS, Talent Management, Legal, Finance, Payroll, and Technology to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years in finance, compensation or consulting.
• 5+ years HR/Compensation management or consulting experience.
• Knowledge of Excel and PeopleSoft.
• Knowledge of compensation compliance with state and federal laws.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex compensation problems and influence stakeholders on compensation strategy.
• Navigate ambiguity across multiple internal initiatives and solicit input from business teams.
• Anticipate business needs and create forward-looking compensation solutions.
• Lead implementation of complex incentive programs, including provider dashboards and documentation.
• Identify, define and improve processes, automation, and tools at scale.
• Develop and deliver policy and process documentation to stakeholders.
