Job summary

Bertelsmann is seeking a Compensation & Benefits Analyst to support the administration and ongoing maintenance of US compensation and benefits programs. The role provides analytics, data reporting, and day-to-day operational support across compensation and employee benefits activities.

You will administer salary structures and participate in annual processes, conduct market pricing, and assist with benefit renewals and vendor coordination. Strong Excel and HRIS experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
• Progress toward CCP/CBP/CEBS certification preferred.
• 3+ years in compensation, benefits, HR operations, or HR analytics preferred.
• Experience with HRIS systems and handling confidential data.
• Experience in a multi-state environment.
• Strong analytical skills and Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain salary structures, pay evaluations and pay grades.
• Lead annual compensation processes including merit increases, bonuses, and salary planning cycles.
• Perform market pricing and benchmarking using compensation surveys and data.
• Support pay equity analyses with data gathering and reporting.
• Prepare standard compensation reports and dashboards for decisions.
• Maintain compensation data in HRIS and conduct routine audits.
