Bertelsmann-Jobs is seeking a Compensation & Benefits Analyst to support the administration and continuous improvement of U.S. compensation and benefits programs.

You will provide analytical support, data reporting, and day-to-day operations across compensation and employee benefits activities. The role focuses on maintaining data accuracy in HRIS, supporting annual processes, market pricing, and compliance with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, and related regulations, while collaborating with Payroll, HRIS,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred.
• Progress toward CCP/CBP/CEBS preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in compensation, benefits, HR operations, or HR analytics.
• Experience with HRIS and handling confidential data.
• Experience in a multi-state environment.
• Solid understanding of compensation and benefits fundamentals.
• Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain salary structures, pay evaluations, and pay grades.
• Manage annual compensation processes including merit increases and bonuses.
• Conduct market pricing and benchmarking using surveys.
• Support pay equity analyses and prepare reports.
• Prepare standard compensation reports and dashboards.
• Maintain compensation data in HRIS and perform audits.
• Support day-to-day U.S. benefits administration.
• Lead open enrollment activities and vendor coordination.
• Respond to employee questions on benefits and eligibility.
• Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, FMLA, pay transparency.
• Partner with Payroll, HRIS, Finance and vendors.
