Job summary

loanDepot is seeking a senior Compensation Manager in Plano, TX to design, analyze, and administer our compensation programs. You will guide market competitiveness, internal equity, and policy application, partnering with HR and leaders to deliver data-driven recommendations.

You will lead market pricing, job architecture, and annual planning cycles, ensuring compliance and alignment with business goals while supporting talent attraction and retention across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 8+ years of compensation experience.
• Experience with job architecture, market pricing, and pay equity.
• Experience with long-term incentive programs preferred.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and HRIS/Pay data tools.
• Mortgage industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with HR and leaders to design data-informed compensation programs.
• Lead market pricing and benchmarking using salary surveys and compensation databases.
• Manage annual compensation planning, merit, promotions, and salary structure updates.
• Maintain job architecture, salary grades, and data in HR systems.
• Ensure compliance with wage regulations and pay equity rules.
• Support compensation audits, reporting, and special projects.
• Partner with external data vendors and benchmarking tools.
