Job summary

RealtySouth in Minnesota is seeking a compensation expert to design competitive pay structures across residential real estate, mortgage, insurance, and settlement services. You will lead market pricing, develop salary ranges, and advise leadership on regulatory impacts while mentoring junior analysts.

The role requires advanced analytical skills, strong Excel proficiency, and experience with compensation systems to drive equity and business alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field or 7–10 years of transferrable experience.
• 5–7 years of progressive compensation experience, including market analysis and salary structure design.

Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert on compensation principles, market trends, and regulatory requirements to ensure competitive and compliant pay practices.
• Lead market pricing and benchmarking for all roles across multiple business lines; analyze market data and recommend adjustments to maintain competitiveness and internal equity.
• Develop and maintain salary structures, pay ranges, and job evaluation frameworks aligned with business strategy and job architecture.
• Advise leadership on compensation decisions, regulatory impacts, and strategic pay initiatives.
• Lead analyses, market assessments, financial modeling, and program evaluations to develop base pay and incentive programs; design plans and payout structures with Finance and operations.
• Mentor and guide other compensation analysts; support executive compensation benchmarking and reporting.
