Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst to lead pay strategy and incentives across the organization. You will partner with leadership to design programs, conduct market analyses and ensure equity and competitiveness of compensation practices.

You will also administer policies, prepare leadership reports, and maintain PeopleSoft data while complying with regulations and privacy standards. This role requires collaboration across sites and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, or Business.
• 3+ years in compensation and 5+ years in HR/Finance total 8+ years.
• Advanced Excel and working Access proficiency.
• Strong organizational, confidentiality and communication skills.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local HR regulations.
• Willingness to travel to various sites.

Responsibilities

• Support compensation strategy, pay programs and policies with senior leadership.
• Design, implement and administer compensation and incentive programs.
• Prepare reports to ensure pay equity and competitiveness.
• Conduct market reviews and summarize findings for leadership.
• Review job descriptions and determine salary grade and title.
• Lead annual salary surveys and coordinate with vendors.
• Provide training on compensation practices as needed.
• Authorize non-standard personnel actions and payroll coordination.
• Maintain integrity of compensation data in PeopleSoft.
