Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst to support compensation strategy, pay programs, and policies across the system, aligned with our Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance standards. You will design, implement, and administer compensation and incentive programs, conduct market reviews, and prepare reports to ensure pay equity and competitiveness.

This role partners with HR leadership to guide total rewards decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required in HR/IO Psychology, Finance or Business.
• Minimum of 3 years Compensation experience and 5 years HR/Finance experience (total 8+).
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and working proficiency with Microsoft Access.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local HR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supports compensation strategy, pay programs and policies.
• Designs, implements and administers compensation and incentive programs.
• Prepares reports and analyses for pay equity and competitiveness.
• Conducts market reviews and provides leadership with summary findings.
• Reviews job descriptions to determine salary grade and title.
• Leads annual salary surveys and liaises with vendors.
• Consults with HR and leadership on compensation practices.
