Job summary

City of Philadelphia Department of Public Health (PDPH) is seeking a Community Education Program Manager to plan, implement, and evaluate education programs that engage communities and build workforce development within ReACH. The role reports to the Health Programs Officer and leads staff across multiple education initiatives.

The candidate will oversee budgeting, reporting, and grant compliance while aligning programs with funder expectations and public health priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public health, education, social sciences, or a related field required.
• Two years of related experience required.
• Experience managing educational programs and curricula for adolescents and adults.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative leadership and strategic oversight for ReACH community education initiatives.
• Supervise program staff responsible for individual education initiatives.
• Oversee planning, implementation, and evaluation of all ReACH education programs.
• Manage education program budgets and fiscal reporting with finance staff.
• Prepare programmatic and fiscal reports and ensure grant/contract deliverables.
• Support grant writing, contract renewals, and new education initiatives.
• Coordinate onboarding and ongoing trainings for educators and trainers.
