Job summary

Arena Staffing is seeking a Communications Specialist for a full-time contract role that is remote. You will develop and deliver clear internal and external communications, working with leadership to manage multiple content projects across channels.

The ideal candidate will have strong writing, editing, and organizational skills, able to translate complex information into engaging content while ensuring brand consistency. 40 hours/week, remote arrangement, salary $85,000–$115,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English, Business, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in communications, corporate communications, public relations, marketing communications, content development, or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong proofreading, editing, research, and content-development abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with different audiences and organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop, write, edit, and distribute internal and external communications.
• Create employee announcements, newsletters, email communications, presentations, talking points, and informational materials.
• Support communication strategies that align with organizational goals, priorities, and brand standards.
• Collaborate with leadership and internal departments to develop audience-focused messaging.
• Translate complex business information into clear, engaging content.
• Manage communication schedules, content calendars, deadlines, and distribution activities.
• Support executive communications, including announcements, presentations, briefing materials, and talking points.
• Develop content for websites, intranet platforms, newsletters, and email campaigns.
