Job summary

AMG & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Communications Specialist for a full-time contract to develop, coordinate, and deliver clear internal and external messaging that aligns with organizational goals.

The role requires strong writing, attention to detail, and experience across multiple channels. You will work with leadership, marketing, HR, operations and other teams to translate complex information into audience-focused communications, manage calendars, and measure impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in communications, corporate communications, public relations, marketing communications, or related discipline.
• Strong written and verbal communication with exceptional grammar, tone, and detail.
• Ability to translate complex information into clear, audience-appropriate messaging.
• Experience developing communications across multiple channels and with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, write, edit, and distribute internal and external communications.
• Develop communication strategies and messaging aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate with leadership, marketing, HR, operations, and other departments to identify requirements and messaging.
• Translate complex information into concise, audience-appropriate communications.
• Manage communication calendars, schedules, deadlines, and distribution plans.
• Draft executive communications, leadership announcements, employee updates, talking points, and presentations.
• Support internal communication initiatives to improve engagement and alignment.
• Create and maintain communication materials, templates, guidelines, FAQs, and resources.
• Coordinate communications for initiatives, changes, projects, programs, and events.
• Review and edit materials for accuracy, tone, grammar, and brand standards.
• Develop content for email, intranet, websites, newsletters, and social channels.
