Job summary

You will manage partnerships, fundraising communications, and annual events, reporting to the Executive Director, while working with a team of eight professionals.

This full-time role requires strong writing, project management, and WordPress skills; occasional evenings and outdoor event duties are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related work experience considered in lieu of degree.
• Minimum of three years of experience in communications/public relations.
• Experience with media relations and digital communications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects and events.

Responsibilities

• Write, distribute and promote press releases for events and SRG news.
• Maintain media contacts and nurture relationships.
• Provide photos and information to reporters as needed.
• Track SRG media mentions and post events to calendars.
• Design and distribute digital newsletters and announcements.
• Manage social media content for SRG and SRT.
• Update WordPress website and program pages.
• Coordinate publicity for annual events and programs.
