Job summary

10,000 Friends of Pennsylvania seeks a Fundraising and Communications Manager to grow its donor base and sponsorship pipeline. You will work with the Program Director to implement fundraising, communications and marketing strategies across statewide housing and smart growth priorities.

The role requires proven fundraising success, strong writing and relationship-building skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a collaborative, equity-focused nonprofit.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of nonprofit fundraising and/or communications experience.
• Proven track record of personally soliciting and securing major gifts.
• Exceptional interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills with ability to articulate a compelling case for support.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Flexibility to pivot and adapt quickly to changing timelines and priorities.
• Ability to think strategically and proactively about new opportunities and risks.
• Proficiency using Nationbuilder and Squarespace or a similar platform and CRM.

Responsibilities

• Grow 10,000 Friends base of support through corporate sponsorship, organizational donors, and online engagement.
• Assist with executing fundraising, communications and marketing strategies.
• Collaborate with staff and partners to advance program and policy objectives in housing, sustainable development, and mobility.
• Develop and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors and grantors.
• Manage fundraising events and related sponsorship activities.
• Support communications campaigns, media outreach, blogs, newsletters, and website content.
