Job summary

AT&T is seeking a Lead Manager Communications & PR to shape strategy and drive public relations programs supporting transformation and Supply Chain initiatives. The role requires crafting speeches, press materials, and messaging for diverse audiences, while guiding senior leadership communications.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in corporate communications, with proven media relations and cross-functional collaboration experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of corporate communications, public relations, journalism or related field.
• Superior writing, editing, and organizational skills.
• Media relations experience.
• Ability to respond in a timely manner to urgent requests and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience communicating with senior leadership to provide counsel and recommendations on key initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Support development and distribution of content for external and internal audiences related to transformation efforts and Supply Chain organization.
• Support media relations efforts, including engagement with reporters and writing statements.
• Distill complex technical topics into clear, actionable messaging aligned to business objectives.
• Maintain working knowledge of company priorities and macro news to inform planning and execution.
• Collaborate with peers across business units to solve complex problems with detailed analysis.
• Serve as a trusted adviser to internal partners about stories, issues, and events impacting reputation.
• Develop external communications strategies in cross-functional collaboration.
