Job summary

AT&T Lead Manager Communications & PR is responsible for developing and implementing complex public relations programs in support of transformation initiatives and the Supply Chain organization.

The role requires strong writing and editing skills, senior-leadership communication experience, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This on-site position is located in Washington, DC with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired; 5+ years in related field.
• Superior writing, editing, and organizational skills.
• Media relations experience.
• Ability to respond quickly to urgent requests and manage multiple projects.
• Experience communicating with senior leadership to provide counsel and recommendations.
• Proven ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support development and distribution of content (speeches, scripts, press releases, messaging, social media) for AT&T’s transformation and Supply Chain.
• Support media relations, engage reporters, write media statements, conduct topic research.
• Translate complex technical topics into clear, actionable messaging aligned with business goals.
• Maintain awareness of company priorities and macro news to inform communications planning.
• Collaborate across business units on complex problems requiring detailed analysis.
• Serve as trusted adviser to internal partners on upcoming stories and events.
