Job summary

Texas A&M Transportation Institute (TTI)—an agency of the Texas A&M University System—seeks an Assistant Director, Communications to lead multiple service lines and optimize project workflows. The role reports to the Director of Communications and focuses on strategic communications, client liaison duties, and ensuring timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Seven years of experience in a communications environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Supervise leads of Creative, Web, Content and Editorial lines; ensure billing expectations.
• Manage intake and assignment of projects; track milestones and deadlines.
• Develop and implement strategic internal and external communications.
• Coordinate across multiple teams and report progress to leadership.
