Job summary

Aspida Financial Services is seeking a Communications Manager to drive storytelling and content strategy for internal and external audiences. You will own the Resource Center and translate complex retirement products into clear, customer-focused messaging.

The role requires strong writing, editing, and project management skills, plus the ability to collaborate with multiple departments to support launches and campaigns. This is an onsite role at our Durham office three days a week.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of professional experience
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field
• Exceptional interpersonal, writing, and speaking skills
• Knowledge of annuity insurance industry and products
• Ability to create and execute knowledge base articles to foster self-service
• Comfort with leading conversations across multiple levels of the organization

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality written content across multiple channels, including website copy, articles, blogs, emails, product materials, sales enablement resources, executive communications, press releases, and internal communications.
• Quickly develop expertise in Aspida’s retirement products, digital platform, and value proposition to create compelling, audience-focused content.
• Own and manage Aspida’s Resource Center, ensuring content is accurate, current, engaging, and aligned with business priorities.
• Translate complex product, technology, and financial concepts into clear, simple, and engaging communications for a variety of audiences.
• Partner with Product Marketing, Product Management, Sales, Digital, Customer Experience, Legal, Compliance, and other SMEs to develop content that supports strategic initiatives and launches.
• Ensure all communications reflect Aspida’s brand voice and messaging standards.
• Interview leaders and SMEs to identify stories and transform technical information into customer-focused messaging.
• Review, edit, and proofread communications for accuracy and adherence to standards.
• Manage multiple writing projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain editorial calendars and content plans to support ongoing initiatives.
