At Sentry Insurance, we’re looking for a seasoned communications professional to coach strategic leaders and provide direct communications support on high-impact initiatives. You will plan work streams, estimate resources, and advise teams on internal and external messaging.

You’ll partner with executives across departments to craft strategies, manage risks, and ensure consistent, effective communication during change. Wisconsin-based hybrid work is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
• Demonstrated experience providing customer driven solutions, support or service.
• Demonstrated experience coaching and advising senior leaders, including on external/news media communications.
• Demonstrated experience developing and managing internal communication plans and strategies, identifying issues and risks that may impact strategies.
• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing communication strategies, including those with external communications components.

Responsabilités

• Work collaboratively with and provide communications coaching for strategic leadership team members.
• Direct communications support for assigned senior leadership, provides direct support to senior leaders on strategic issues.
• Respond to unexpected communication needs with calm and professionalism that produces results.
• Define work plans to organize the communications, campaigns, projects or events into tasks; estimating time, budget and resources needed.
• Serve as a subject matter expert by providing advisement, coaching and feedback to fellow team members.
• Build and maintain relationships with key leaders, business partners, internal departments, etc.
