Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and alignment across diverse teams.
• Strong internal and external communications, including media relations and policy communications.
• Excellent storytelling, writing, and presentation skills.
• Strategic thinker with a track record of advancing business and policy goals through communications.
• Experience advising senior executives and managing high-profile initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree required

Responsibilities

• Design and lead end-to-end communications strategy for the small business initiative.
• Serve as central connector across lines of business for unified messaging.
• Develop narratives and campaigns highlighting support for small businesses.
• Partner with government relations to communicate policy perspectives.
• Lead external communications including media relations and thought leadership.
• Collaborate with internal communications to engage employees on priorities.
• Advise senior leaders on strategy, messaging, and reputation management.
• Measure and report communications effectiveness and ROI.
• Manage and mentor a communications team dedicated to the initiative.
• Take on increasing external comms responsibilities for Business Banking.
