Job summary

Native Governance Center is seeking a Communications & Advancement Specialist to drive our communications and fundraising efforts. You will create compelling content, manage digital channels, and ensure consistent brand voice across newsletters, social media, and the website.

In a remote-first environment with up to 20% travel, you will collaborate with leadership to plan campaigns, steward donors, and evaluate engagement metrics, while delivering clear, culturally grounded messages that support

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in communications, marketing, or related field.
• 3+ years in professional communications, marketing, or fundraising.
• Experience creating, posting, monitoring, and managing social media content.
• Experience with WordPress content management.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud or similar design tools.
• Experience developing newsletters, emails, digital campaigns, and reports.
• Experience supporting fundraising communications and donor stewardship.
• Advanced MS Office or Google Suite skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate and manage organizational communications across newsletters, social media, website, and reports.
• Lead social media management across platforms to grow engagement.
• Maintain and update website content for clarity and user experience.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure consistent voice and branding.
• Lead or support individual giving and outreach campaigns.
• Coordinate communications for events and vendor relationships.
• Track performance data to improve reach and engagement.
